Cozy Mountain homes started in 2020 in response to a big life change. After Lynsi got sick, had surgery after surgery, and could not return to a traditional job... We created this in hopes that Lynsi would be able to utilize her amazing design skills while doing something she loves to do, while being easy on herself during the recovery. After months of searching we found our first house on Wayne street. We worked hard to buy and flip that house which left us inspired.
We can now happily and proudly say we have purchased, remodeled, and sold several properties. Our future goals are to continue flipping, but also increase the number of rental properties we have. We started this business because we truly love taking a house that lost it's spark over time and make it light up again. With all the hard work, planning, and detail that it takes; We strive to truly create Cozy Mountain Homes.

My name is Seth Sigmon
Hello, my name is Seth Sigmon and thank you for visiting the about section so you can learn more about whom you are doing business. I grew up in Franklin County, Va. So, I guess you can say I have developed the southern mumble dialect. My words may tend to blend together when I become excited about a topic, so brace yourselves, because I am excited about this topic. I enjoy helping others. Helping others has been a part of my life since High School when my mother began doing foster care. Through foster care I was able to see beyond myself and it required me to learn how others may see certain aspects of life as well as how to interpersonally navigate delicate life situations that arose. I have always felt it was my job to do my best to aid others in overcoming and growing into more than what they thought they could. This is why I chose to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. I’ve worked in Social Work for 10+ years. Social Work required me to solve problems creatively and help others with taking action steps to help themselves move forward or reach for something more than what they were currently offering themselves. I desire to help others do their best so they can have and be the best they can be. This is why my wife and I chose to develop Cozy Mountain Homes, because through Real Estate, everyone can succeed. Let’s take a step together. I have been flipping homes for 4 years and have learned how much Real Estate truly has to offer. Let me show you. With me, you will be the top of the priority list. My name is Lynsi Sigmon
Hi! My name is Lynsi Sigmon. My husband and I started Cozy Mountain Homes LLC so we can help build a better community in an area that we love. Putting forth my creative thinking and designs, renovating homes is an extension of myself that I love to offer others. When you step into a Cozy Mountain Home, I want you to know that you have purchased a special home. For me, to create a home that provides a feeling of relief for you after a long day at work, a place where you love spending time with friends and family, is my goal and my passion. Bringing happiness and a place not just to be, but to live.
I guess the apple does not fall far from the tree, or so they say, because my Dad was a contractor. My Dad, to this day, can fix anything. I feel that in one way or another, he inspired me along this particular journey. Growing up, I loved working and learning along-side my Dad, until I got on his nerves not knowing what to do on certain projects! But from shadowing him, I learned that I enjoyed working with my hands and being engaged in problem solving while creating something unique. Also, my Mom has always had a keen eye for design. I guess through the years I’ve absorbed the care that she put into making our house a home. From seeing the beautiful homes my Mom would design and my Dad would build, to the homes I am renovating, there is a feeling of accomplishment and knowing that I am doing what is in my blood. At the end of the day, when I know I’ve done quality work that will make someone else truly happy, is the real goal of what I want to accomplish in this business. I am thankful to have the support and guidance of my husband, sister, and parents through this amazing journey.
Working in Real Estate is hard work, but also, worthwhile work. The most important goals of mine are to one day be a mother and spend as much time with my loved ones as possible. I believe I can achieve that through Real Estate while creating and renovating one home at a time. With a heart full of love, passion and a hammer in my hand, I’ll be able to achieve this dream while helping others love their homes and create many happy memories for themselves, as well as myself, along the way. That’s the vision I will fulfill.
